How does the sensor work?
The Flora Pod uses a combination of Bluetooth BLE and WiFi to connect wireless to your Flora app. It's as simple as pressing the button on the device, pairing your phone, and then setting up some basic info so your sensor can immediately start collecting data! You can customize settings like the data frequency, your sensor's name, thresholds for different sensors, and more.
How long does the battery last? How is it charged?
On the preset factory settings of hourly data readings, the Flora Pod sensor lasts approximately 8 weeks on a single 2h charge. Recharge your device with the provided micro-USB cable and it should be good to go.
Can I use this for multiple plants?
Absolutely! Flora is designed to be easily pairable/unpairable, so you can pair it with a new plant quite easily. Some people use the device to quickly check moisture/light/humidity levels as well. We do recommend buying multiple sensors if you have multiple plants you want to actively monitor - the sensor's ability to recommend useful information gets better over time, so the longer it is able to bond with a plant, the better!
Can this be used outside? Is it safe?
The Flora Pod was designed from the ground up to be durable, weatherproof, dirt-proof, and waterproof. This means you can place the sensor anywhere near the range of your WiFi signal outside and it will still work! The device is safe to use as long as temperatures do not exceed 70°C/158°F or stay below 0°C/32°F.
When will my order be shipped?
We ship out thousands of packages each day, but due to Covid-19, there
may be delays in individual orders as we work to get everything
processed. We are doing our best to get your order to you as quickly as
we can. Please be just a bit more patient with us, and you should have
your order delivered soon.
How do I track my order?
Look for an automated email with tracking information when your order
ships or Email our support team and quote your order number/customer
reference number. We’ll help you with the rest.
Do you ship worldwide?
We have customers all across the globe, so we can ship to anywhere with a letterbox. We usually dispatch orders within 3-5 working days. Delivery times vary based on selected service and destination. International orders may take up to 4 weeks to deliver due to varying customs processing times. Regular post ranges from 3 to 28 working days depending on the shipping address.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes! You can cancel your preorder up until we officially ship your order in March, 2022.
