Water the Garlic every 3 to 5 days during the growing season (mid-May to June). If May and June are dehydrated, irrigate to a depth of 2 feet every eight to 10 days. As mid-June approaches, taper off watering.

Fertilize your Garlic every three to four weeks around the middle of May or prior to the swelling of the bulbs using a balanced NPK 16-6-4 fertilizer.
