The Piggyback Plant is a western native growing plant that thrives in lower elevation woodlands near stream banks. It has basal leaves which are bright green in color and usually have some slightly serrated edges. The stems are long and hairy growing up to 30 inches tall. Along the stems reddish brown to chocolate color flowers grow. Each flower has 4 long ribbon like petals which give it an exotic look!
